Can't Find Domain Controller

My file and app server can no longer find the Domain
Controller. The event log states no W2K Dom Cntl was
found: Source NETLOGON, Event ID 5719, and Win Time
Service could not be updated, Event ID 54. I can ping the
DomCntl and it can ping the File/App. I know it is not a
hardware/cable problem as it was working before and no
changes were made other than Service Packs and updates. I
tried cleaning out the LMHOST, removing nonexistant
trusts, and rejoining the domain, even reloading SP4. The
Exchange Server is in the same situation.

This can occur due to DNS misconfiguration. All servers and workstations
should specify the internal AD-integrated DNS server's IP address in their
network settings. The AD-integrated DNS server should be set up with
forwarders to several public DNS servers for external resolution.

See http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;300202 for more
info.
