Can't find CAB file on CD

No, not me, the bloody fool windows installer program. I
wanted to install WinXP system tools from the CD. When I
ran the install program, Windows Installer said it
couldn't find the CAB file, EVEN THO' IT HAD THE CORRECT
LOCATION in error message. I had to load the entire
program to my hard drive and install from there. What
gives? This also happened with Norton System Works Pro
2004, OmniPage SE, and several other apps.

Sometimes, the laser doesn't read quite like it should, and sometimes, the
cd needs cleaning before use.. installing from cd is more problematic than
from a hard drive.. I often copy cds to the drive first..
