can't find back up

I have home edition of win xp and want to back up files
and folders. I've searched help and performance &
maintenance along with system tools and it just aint
there. Any ideas?

Insert the XP or Rescue CD, and run NTBACKUP.MSI program
from the folder X:\valueadd\msft\ntbackup - where X is the drive letter of
your CD drive.


In XP Home the ASR Floppy Disk does not work .

It's on your XP CD. Look under VALUEADD > MSFT > NTBACKUP for instructions and
the installation file.

Backup does not get installed with default install configuration of XP Home.
You may have to add it from the CD itself.

The Backup function on XP Home is not installed by
default. Re-insert the XP CD and check folders like
extra's and tools (I'm not sure which as I use the Pro
version), however I remember readiong about it in a
magazine
