I need the Vista Ultimate hotfix to install a version of NETMEETING on my
system. It is discussed at length at:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927853
That page says to visit this page:
http://support.microsoft.com/contactus/?ws=support

After reviewing the options, I chose to ask here.

You have to contact MS for hotfixes. There is no charge if all you mention
is the specific KB article for the hotfix.

Or you can submit an online request for one.

For the US see this.

Otherwise go here:

To get a Hotfix you have to do as it say's in your links. MS is the only one that can give you the Hotfix and it is free of charge. Make sure that when you phone in that you mention that the call is for a Hotfix

Hi Charles,

Hotfixes must be obtained by calling Microsoft Product Support, no one here
can send it to you as these are peer-to-peer support groups designed for
sharing advice and experiences.

This will save you a couple of steps.

To obtain a Hotfix that is described in a Microsoft Knowledgebase article,
go to the following website.
Fill out the form there and submit it.
You will need the 6 digit KB article number that describes the hotfix. (ie:
Article ID xxxxxx)
You will receive an email with a download link and password to get the
hotfix.
There is no charges associated with obtaining a hotfix.

Contact Us: Hotfix Request Web Submission Form:
