Can't edit information in database

I'm not sure what I've done wrong. I was updating a file in word which is
linked to my database and then out of the blue I started experiencing
problems.

I can open up my word document, but when I try to edit the recipient list in
the database, I am not allowed that option.

Someone please help me!

Insufficient information! We cannot see your database, don't know how
you're linking or trying to edit, or much of anything about your
application. Is the recipient list in Word or in Access? Are you
trying to edit it in code, with a query, with a form...?

Please post the relevant code.
