Can't download....

I've been trying to download AIM 5.2 from AOL. I get to the download screen and press the "Download" button and go to the next page. The hard drive reads a little, then I have a blank page with the little "picture" up in the top left corner of the screen, and the word "Done" down in the status bar, but nothing on the screen. Could someone tell me what might be the problem? Thanks

You need to run regedit and delete the following key

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Plugins\Extentions
