can't display clip art error message

I had to reinstall XP and Office 2003. When I first ran PowerPoint, I
received a dialog box stating something to the effect that PP can't view clip
art, please run setup and select run from cd or my computer. This dialog box
kept reappearing every few seconds or so after closing the previous one. Not
want to install or use clip art, I selected run with 1st use. Now when I
start PP, I am asked if I want to install clip art. I select no and the
dialog box reappears as described above. When did having clip art installed
be required to run PP without getting these annoying dialog boxes? I have not
had this problem in the past. I don't have a lot of HD space so I like to
minimize my install by installing only the options I need. Is there any way
to fix this error. I already tried unstilling and reinstalling PP.
Thanks

Office 2003 Service Pack 2 causes this issue. Microsoft is working on a hot
fix.

In the interim, the only fixes are to install clip art to your hard drive,
or hide the Drawing Toolbar in PPT.

See Error message: Microsoft Office PowerPoint can't display clip art.

(Thank you sooo much, Steve, for posting that info to the FAQ. I couldn't
find it anywhere else, and I couldn't remember what the workarounds were!)

LOL! It's my digital memory, and a good thing since the o-ram is all
barnacle-encrusted and not very reliable any more.

Thanks for the response. I previously had SP2 installed without this problem.
Maybe it was updated between the the last install and my recent reinstall.
