Embedding Objects with Clip Art As Icon

Trying to embed an excel file but use clip art as the object icon. I save the
clip art phn file to my desktop -but keep getting error message: "There are
no icons in file...." when I try to use the clip art as an icon.

The object needs to be embedded, so can't use hyperlink, etc.., needs to be
part of the file.

Is it possible to save as .ico file so clip art can be used?

Part of the Insert Object command includes displaying the object as an icon
AND choosing an icon to use to represent it. Click Change Icon and you are
greeted by a Browse button for standard file I/O.

Now the trick is to get the artwork you want into icon (.ico) format. While
not a common format, it is a simple export procedure, supported by most
drawing and bitmap programs.
