I can't delete this avi file. I dont know if it's corrupt or something. I've tried to reboot and I've tried to start up in safe mode, but it doesn't allow me to delete it. This file is driving me crazy! Please help me =)

Reboot the computer.
Do NOT open Windows Explorer.
Open a command prompt..
Using Command Line only commands, get to the directory with the AVI you want
to delete.

Once in that directory, type in :

del "filename.avi"

(replacing filename appropriately).

That should do it.

Hi,

Start the Windows Media Player, delete that file from the playlist. Close
it, then retry deleting the file.

Got a definitive solution for that: your OS simply sucks so badly it
crashes upon a bad file. I'll repeat that: a stupid file blocks your
whoe 1200 bucks or so machine. So what you need is a new OS. Try a
linux distribution, they take good care of avoiding this ridiculous kind
of errors.
cheers :)
