Can't delete other vista installation from drive

Hi all.

I have the beta version of Vista on my D: partition.
It's wasting a ton of space. When I try to delete it, Vista says
I don't have permission. I'm the owner and tried altering the
properties of the directory but no joy.


Any suggestions?

any thing else on that partition??..try a format providing you are not in
that version of the OS
The Operating System will not let you delete/format itself out of
existance...you need to be in another OS to do that.
If you are installing another OS like XP or Retail Vista you can do this
during the install
