At the suggestion of "Byte" who replied to my earlier
question; re: "How to re-find a newsgroup question posted
here earlier", I will re-post it below; but first:
My _current_ Situation:
I DID find 2 'undelverable' e mails error messages when I
searched my 'LOCAL' e mail folder--as opposed to my general
Outbox that shows none(thanks for the advise guys)-- BUT I
can find no way of deleting them. Thus they resurface each
time I send out any e mails.
Here is a copy of one:
***The message could not be sent because one of the
recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail
address was --------'. Subject ------', Account:
'mail.optonline.net', Server: 'mail.optonline.net',
Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '550 5.1.1 unknown or
illegal alias:-----, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server
Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC79****
My "local Outbox" shows 2 items; my general "Outbox" shows
no items.
I deleted the e mails from my address book.

The message below has been appearing in my Outlook Express
(Wins XP, Home Ed.)for a month now every time I try to send
outgoing mail. I've deleted the undeliverable e mail
addresses, so how do I now get rid of the message itself?
Thanks, Ron

Ron,
Doesn't make much sense that your receiving an error
message after deleting
e-mail address. Is there still a message in your 'Outbox'?
check all your
Outboxes, 'Local', Hotmail and if you use Hotmail
integrated with your
Outlook Express delete the address from their Hotmail site.
