cant delete file

I have a file I cant delete. I get a warning that says
file in uses by another program or user. I tried
rebooting in the safemode nothing. What can I do. This
file causes the cpu to go to 100 percent. It causes my
sytem to crash. help

This sounds like some sort of malware. Do a scan with an uptodate
antivirus program and with one or more of the following:

Ad-Aware (http://www.lavasoftusa.com/)
SpyBot Search & Destroy (http://www.safer-networking.org/)

Be SURE to update the "definitions" files for these progs before your
run them.

In some cases try Ctrl-Alt-Delete which brings up Task Manager. Find the
offending program that is using the file, close it, and then you can delete
it.
