Hi. Does anyone know how can I delete a file, when Windows sais "Acess denied".
This file was identified as virus by Norton antivirus program.
There must be a way I can delete my own file from my own computer, right?

What was the file named, and what folder is it is, if that isn't a secret?

Seems pretty obvious (although this could be a misfire) that the file your
antivirus software has found is likely in a system restore point. What you
want to do is this:

Disable your system restore.

Reboot your computer.
Enable your system restore.
Scan for viruses.

Probably but I've had burnt fingers in the past from assuming and now i let
people tell the story at their own speed.

That user may not have access to the file. Or the file may be opened
exclusively (or at least not SHARE_DELETE) by another caller.

Assuming it's not a restore point . ..
Worst case scenario, an administrator be able to "take ownership" of the
file (Properties->Security->Advanced). At that point you may be able to
delete. If not, you can rename the file, reboot, and delete.
