Can't delete .dot files off intranet server...

Hello:

I'm unable to delete .dot files off our intranet server. As webmaster, I've
got full edit rights. I keep getting the following message when I try to
move .dot files:

"Server error: cannot delete ...... .dot because the file is in use."

Strangely, other file types in the same folders move w/o problem. The .dot
files are not in use and they're not read-only either. What could be
causing this?

Server version: IIS 4.0
Client Software: FrontPage 2002 and FrontPage 2003
The web site is indexed.

No... I'm trying to delete/move the files within FrontPage 2002 and
FrontPage 2003.

We resolved the issue. Had to turn off Index Server and IIS.
