Can't delete directory

I have a directory that I can't get rid of. When I click
on the delete a notice comes up saying it can't find the
directory or path, the name of the directory it mentions
is not the one I am trying to get rid of. I have chaned
the name of the directory to the one mentioned in the
message but the same answer comes up.
Can anyone help I am on XP

I have a radical idea. Include full details of what you're doing. Like full text of error messages and names of the folders.

Sorry that should be folder not directory

All directories are folders but not all folders are directories.

The Kyello part is not one I have named it just came out
of the blue, an that is the trouble. I fear I have a bug
I can't get rid of. I have passed it through my virus
check but it comes out clear. someone has said to dekete
it through DOS and deltree how do I get into dos from xp

Click Strt, Run , type in "command" (w/o quotes) cd into
the directory. try to delete it, if not working,
type "attrib" to see he flags at the beginning of the
line. A=archive S=system R=read only H=hidden .. if any of
these are set, type in "attrib -a -s -r -h
filenamegoeshere"
the flags can be in any order. then try to delete it
again. "del filename.ext"
