Can't Delete a Network Printer

I am trying to delete a network printer.
When I right click on the printer I get the
"Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to
close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." message.

Does anyone have a fix for this problem?

I was able to fix my own problem by deleting all the
registry entries for the the printer to be removed.
After this I was able to install the printer successfully.
