Can't create User Account on Vista that is same as XP on network

I am trying to use the same User Accounts on my network. I am setting up my
Vista Home Premium and settting up Standard accounts with the same User
Account and Password as XP on the network. I understand this is the best way
because it will pass the name and password when I share folders, etc.

When I try to create it on Vista, I get an error message that says the user
account is not valid ... can't contain ... and it lists special characters. I
did use the Windows Easy Transfer initially from the XP machine.

Is there a problem using the same on both machines? Thanks.

Note "...says the user account is not valid ... can't contain ... and it
lists special characters..." You afre being told the problem - do not use
any of the characters indicated.
