Can't create sub-web. Help!

fred rosenberg

hi,

i have created a site for a friend(FP2003), and he wants me to put it as a
'subweb' on his company's site. the server is a unix type of server, and i
have asked for FP extensions to be installed (thru their admin control
panel). but i cannot get FP publish function to accept the username and
password for the main site. if i use a standard ftp program, it signs onto
the main site just fine. any clues what's going on?

thanks!

fred

just wanted to add a query -- perhaps the main site not being a FP site is
an issue?

thanks,

fred

The FP extensions must be applied to the complete web site.
