Hello Everyone,

I have a user who can't create a new task in Outlook
2002. He can create one on his Blackberry and it will
show up in his outlook, but he can't create one from
within outlook? I 'googled' this and can't even find a
hint at what might be wrong.

Please help!
Diana

what happens when he tries? What is the build number of Outlook in Help |
ABout.

It says that it can not be completed. One or more
paremeters is incorrect. I have looked all over MS and
can't find any info on this. The build number is:

Microsoft Outlook 2002 (10.2627.2625)

I have tried unistalling and reinstalling, etc. He is a
laptop user who has it set to be able to use offline. I
have verified he is online while attempting to create a
task. I have also applied service pack 3 and that didn't
solve it.

But what is the *exact* error message? Can he create tasks when he's
offline? What if you use a different profile?

Thank you for your help. I found the answer in MS
article 197036. It was a corrupt task folder on the
exchange server.

The error was:

Could not complete operation. One or more parameter
values are not valid.

Thanks again for your help.
