cant connect via explorer

Heres the problem. I have a computer that I brought home
from work because it had viruses etc on it. I removed
them all and internet explorer stopped working so I ran a
program that fix the registry values etc. and I got it to
work on a wireless network which I have in my house. So I
removed the wireless card put in the original one and
brought it back. It still doesnt work. I can connect to
the network but not the internet. Am I missing something
why cant I get internet?
