can't connect to many banking web site

dear Sir/Madam,

I can connect to www.hsbc.com, but for local web site www.hsbc.com.hk I
can't connect it, and also many banking web site, please help!



running Vista 5472, but I'm also tried 5600 and 5744(all in x86), it still
the same, even I'm install the java JRE6 it also the same.

try to uncheck "use TLS 1.0".

Sorry I can not able to help you. I can not connect web of this bank. I see
only "connceting" and IE is checking this site all the time. Please refer to
bank.

In a command prompt window, type:

netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled

It solves the pb for me.

I'm able to connect to the site. From IE7 select Tools - Internet Options -
Advanced. Scroll to the bottom of the list and select "Use SSL 2.0".

A lot of bank websites use SSL2.0 without it selected you will not be able
to connect with IE7.

Some banking sites need still to see IE6.
If that is the case, copy the following text into a text file with a *.reg
extension.
Click on it and IE7 will look, from a logical point, as IE6.
IE7 will have no functional/cosmetic changes.
