Your settings appear to be correct. However, the error
"unexpectedly terminated" is usually caused by interference from
an antivirus program. Which antivirus are you running?
As a minimum, email scanning in the antivirus should be turned off,
although that may not be sufficient to eliminate all bad effects.
In a worst case scenario, your antivirus may need to be uninstalled.

Email scanning in any antivirus should be disabled, for reasons
explained here:
http://thundercloud.net/infoave/tutorials/email-scanning/index.htm

If no improvement after disabling email scanning, consider upgrading
to Windows Live Mail, because it is less prone to suffering bad effects
from overly intrusive antivirus programs:

One of my alumni has exactly, and I mean exactly, the same problem. She
asked me what happened.
Same ISP, same settings same error message.
But, a little later, everything has returned to normal.
I think AT&T has server problem.

I use the same mail server, checking my mail there every 5 minutes.
No error messages.

Just receive another alumni e-mail, he had problem SENDING. After a long
while it was back to normal
His error message :
"Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for
this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of
inactivity. Subject 'Fw: Best of Holland, Ludwig's Dreams, pps, music',
Account: 'xxxxx', Server: 'smtp.att.yahoo.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 465,
Secure(SSL): Yes, Socket Error: 10053, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F"

As I said before, the most likely cause for that "unexpectedly terminated"
error is interference from an antivirus program.
