Can't connect to internet....

Here's the deal. I have a user who was on the internet
just fine yesterday. No trouble what so ever. (we
connect on a t1 frame relay, so everyone knows here) She
can ping the gateway just fine, she can ping the router
just fine, she can ping the DNS servers that our isp has
for us just fine, but she can't reach the outside world.
She still has network access, and can got to her network
drives just fine, but she can't access anything that
really requires the tcp/ip protocol. Anyone have any
ideas? Please help!!!!

Okay, I figured it out. Should anyone ever have this
problem again, the solution can be found in the knowledge
base under (I guess its a case number) 811259 - How to
determince and recover from Winsock2 corruption. So
there you go.

Thanks for posting the solution, Justin. I really appreciate you taking
the time to remind us to look for Winsock2 corruption. Even though I
have the lspfix.exe to repair Winsock2 settings for clients after a
spyware infestation, I forget about it sometimes.

Cheers,

Malke
