Can't connect to Internet to get signature updates

Can I download the latest signature updates to copy to
another machine that cannot connect to the Internet.

On the PC that is able to connect to the Internet, update
the signatures.

Then using Winzip, zip up the folder C:\Program
Files\Microsoft AntiSpyware and copy it to a thumbdrive or
CDRW.

Bring it to the PC w/o an Internet connection and unzip
the zipped file to C:\Program Files\Microsoft AntiSpyware.

This advice could result in cutting off access to all files in Quarantine, I
suspect.

The precise files involved in the definitions are shown in this KB article:

I've yet to hear from anyone who has tested moving just these files to see
whether that works--any brave souls out there to try this out?
