Can't complete publishing from my online website to my backup home computer

I use frontpage 2000 with windows xp pro and normally
create my website on one computer to publish to the
online server, then publish from the online server to my
second computer for backup. I get an error message that
states: The server sent a response which frontpage could
not parse. If you are trying to connect to a frontpage
server....then something regarding checking frontpage
extensions.

I have recalculated my web, checked to see if the IIS is
running, and it still gives me this error message.

Please help.
