I have OL2K. I have a PST file that I use to archive important messages so
they are not growing my Exchange mailbox. I noticed that I was getting to
many instances of Outlook starting up and reporting that this file had not
been properly closed. It was taking a few minutes to get it cleaned up...and
was not always convenient.
So, I created a new PST and moved all my messages to it hoping to get a
"refreshed" PST that would be a bit more stable. Now, when I try to close
the old, empty PST, I get the following message:
The operation failed. An object cannot be found.
So...I can't get this off my Outlook Explorer. It still has two folders in
it...including a Tasks and Deleted Items. If I try to delete them, it won't
let me.
Any ideas on how to get rid of this?
