hi I wonder if anyone has this kind of problem. recently I have bought a new
computer and have Vista and Outlook 2007 installed. I have saved outlook.pst
file from Outlook 2003 from my old computer and tranfered to the new computer
by mobile drive. I, then, use import function to import outook.pst file into
Outlook 2007. I close Outlook by clicking "file" and then "exit"

sometimes when I open Outlook, the message pops out that say
something like I did not close Outlook successfully or normally last time.
the computer has to check pst file for corruption. the problem is that I have
successfully closed Outlook every tme. now, I have to use scanpst.exe to
repair email database.

Then I found out that after I close Outlook, it does not mean Outlook is
completely closed. when I look at task manager long after I closed Outlook, I
found out part of Outlook is still running and receiving emails.

does anyone have this problem?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
