Can't Clear History...Help!

Okay, I've went into "Tools", "Internet Options" and
Deleted Cookies, Deleted Files, Cleared History, I went
into AutoComplete and cleared all forms and passwords.
But, there are still about 10-12 web address that show up
when I start typing in the address bar.

When I first got my computer, I had some problems with IE
crashing, it's possible that these sites were the ones
that were up when it happened (don't know if this has
anything to do with it or not).

Is there any other way for me to completely get rid of
these addresses?

These are coming from the index.dat file in the History folder. Corruption
in the file/folder can cause this.

Free History Eraser from
http://smartprotector.com/eraser/free-history-eraser.htm will delete the
History folder (and the index.dat file) and a new one will be created when
you restart.

Or the History folder can be deleted manually:
