Can't change Workgroup or Domain

If you are the Domain Controller you will not be able to
change your domain name... it will be embossed as you said.

In this case you must run dcpromo to demote your pc to a
non Domain controller.

start>run DCPROMO
this runs the wizard to demote/promote your pc.
