Can't change search engine

I somehow gotton a new search engine called "common searches" I tried to
click customize and nothing happens.

Thanks for the help I ran the CWShedder it removed quit a bit. I had one
prompt, C\WINDOWS\OPTIMIZE.EXE is this a random filename? It suggested I
cick no and ask someone. Should I run cwshedder again and remove this file?

CWShedder is specific to CoolWebSearch. Get these tools and run them also.
You may be surprise as to what else you will find.

Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.
