can't change read-only attribute on my dvd+rw disc

i go to "properties" to change all attributes on the enire disc and the
"read-only" AND "archive" attributes are x'd when i did nothing to activate
them in the first place. now when i try to uncheck EITHER attribute i'm told
"access is denied". i unloaded all these files back onto my hard drive,
reformatted the dvd disc, reloaded the files, even loaded more files on a few
hours later, and the next day, once again, i can't load more on this disc
BECAUSE all the files CHANGED back to "read-only". i've added files to this
disc for months and now this! this is on XP Professional, so i can only
assume this is an Adminstrator's access only thing. So....i AM the
administrator, how can i change this attribute on over 2500 files, all of
which reside on my DVD+RW disc?

thx

Since XP doesn't natively handle writing to DVD media, you need to look at the "packet writing software" (InCD, DirecCD, etc.) that was installed with your DVD burning software.
