can't change limited account to administrative account

There is only one user on the computer with a limited
account. I cannot change limited account back
administrative account because that is the only user.
 
Boot into safe mode (pressing f8 right after the initial boot screen), log
into the local administrator account and change the limited account there.
 
If you have XP Pro, press CTRL-ALT-DEL twice at the Welcome Screen. Enter Administrator and any password that you may have set on that account. If you don't remember setting one, leave it blank.
