Cant burn CD's

Windows XP does not seem to recognize the CD-RW drive.
In 'device manager' it is disabled. (code 22) I cannot
update driver and it cant be enabled. Does anyone know
what code 22 is? Thanks

Don't know what Code 22 is but did you try booting into Safe Mode, opening
Device Manager, removing the offending device, and rebooting to see if
Windows will now identify the device correctly?
