cant browse computer, but shared folders are accessible

As the subject says, when I try to access computer with \\computername it
says Accesss denied, but when I try to access shared folder on it with
\\computername\sharename it works fine.
I also can use shared printer normally
Windows XP pro sp1
Simple file sharing is disabled, Guest account is enabled, remote users
connect via guest account
I'm stuck on this for 3 days, any help is more then welcome

You have to map to a shared source. if you type
\\computername\c$, it will map to the C:\ drive of the
computer and you can browse that. If the disk is
partitioned, replace the c$ with d$, f$, etc. Don't know
if this is helpful or not, or if you already knew this.
