I can't browse my CD drive with windows explorer. It brings up the desktop
instead. AutoRun will work. The CD can be explored in the Dos box. It
doesn't matter which CD is in the drive, they all won't work. I have
uninstalled the driver and reinstalled it, still nothing. One solution I
have found is to rename the drive letter from E: to G: . Windows explorer
will now browse the CD normally. I hope the same thing doesn't happen to G:

I have tried rebooting, still the same. Also when I can the drive letter
back to E: I can't read the CD. If I change to G: I can read the CD again.

David,

You figure out was causing your problem? I've been having a similar problem
with my system. I going to try and rename the drive now and see what
happens. Let me know if you found anything else out.

No, I never figured out any solutions. It works ok with the different drive
letter. I just have to remember which drive is which.
