!!! Can't block HOSTAK.EXE

N

News

I am running the most up to date versions of

Spyware Blaster
Spyware Guard
Ad-Aware SE
BHO Demon

And all are configured for full paranoid protection, and still, HOSTAK.EXE gets in.

When I run Ad-Aware hostak is detected and removed. But if Ad-Aware knows that hostak is evil-ware, why doesn't it stop it from
re-entering in the first place?

How is this possible?

I tried it. Looks like I had VX2 - I did a bit more research - Turns out SpywareGuard hasn't been updated since January. I
dumped it and loaded S&D.

Things seem cool now.

Spanks!
