CAN'T ATTACH AND DOWNLOAD EMAIL IN OUTLOOK

Hello MVP guys, I need your help

I have a outlook 2003 SP3 installed on Windows Vista Bussines SP1, but there
is a problem whit outlook, I can recieve email whit attachments, but I can't
recieve and download email files on email, what happen?
Can you helpme.

Not an MVP any longer but....

Are you saying you can receive email with attachments but not items without
attachments or that you can't receive email at all? Are you seeing any
error messages?

What's the error message you receive when you try to attach a file?

Are you creating a new message and trying to attach another message to that
new message? How are you trying to attach it? State your exact steps.

Create a new email, wrote text and then attach new element
clic to acept new element, message appear "invalid object"

Are you using a non-English version of Outlook? If so, does your
description mean Insert | Item; then select item?

Try just dragging the old message from Inbox to the body of the new message.

I have the same issue. If an email is sent to me with attachments, I can
open attachments such as Excel spreadsheets, PDFs, but not another email.

Along the same lines, when I try to send a new message and want to attach
another email to my email, I get the "Object Cannot Be Found" error message.
I compose a new message, go to Insert, Item and try to choose an email from
my Inbox to attach. If I use "Insert as Text Only", it will insert it in the
body of the email without a problem. However, if I use "Insert as
Attachment", I receive the error message.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

The suggestion was "Try just dragging the old message from Inbox to the body
of the new message. Does that work?" from Brian Tillman on 8/21/2009. Every
other post before that was just people trying to figure out what exactly
Francisco was asking. I tried clarifying the issue in my first post since it
seems Francisco and I have the same problem. Hopefully you'll have some
ideas that may help.

So, you disabled your firewall and antivirus programs? You tried dragging the
attachment to the mail message? You tried starting Outlook once with the
/cleanviews command switch? You tried a new mail profile?
