can't address envelope because "insert address missing" 2003 offi

when i go to tools
letters and mailings
envelopes and labels
envelopes
at this point there is no click insert address
insert address is milling

how can i set up a list of addresses to be inserted on the mail to portion
of the envelope?

In the envelope dialog there is a little 'book' icon immediately above the
address window for inserting addresses. That is hard wired into the dialog
box. If it doesn't work you are probably not using Outlook as your default
e-mail application.
