Can't Add/Remove Windows Components

Hi,

I installed SP2. It killed the VS.Net 1.1 debugger. Any time i try to
run my application in the debugger i get an immediate hang. Too late i
read some info about SP2. SP2 would not uninstall until i did a Safe mode
boot. After the Safe boot uninstall my VS.Net application still hung in
the debugger. I tried a Safe boot install of SP2. My VS.Net application
still hangs. In addition now I have a different problem, IIS appears dead.
When i try Add or Remove Programs Add/Remove Windows Components i get the
message: "Another copy of this setup program is running. Please wait until
the other setup is completed before attempting to run this program again."
What should i try next?

Try opening event viewer,click on theevent/warning,then in new window
for it,click on the url,this opens help/support in xp,usually with a fix or
detailed info on how to.
