Lee posted a request on 2 October 2004 which is the same
problem as I have. Has this matter been resolved yet?
What is the solution.
I created a workgroup of three computers running windows
XP. I cannot access information on one of the computers
in the workgroup. I get error message which is the same
as Lee's.
I would like to know what the solution is.
Dennis,
When you ask for help here, you need to provide some amount of detail. You need
to remember that other issues (problems posted by other people) may or may not
apply to your problem. And finally, please don't assume that Lee's problem (in
your case) is visible to everybody so they can help you from that starting
point.
In other words, please state YOUR problem, with detail. Define your problem on
its own.

Now to your problem. Networking computers can be frustrating. There are a lot
of details which you need to resolve.
Here are a few websites with useful tutorials:

If the tutorials in those websites is not helpful, please try and describe your
network, and what symptoms you are seeing when you say "I cannot access
information on one of the computers in the workgroup. I get error message which
is the same as Lee's."
We will help you. But you have to help us.
Cheers,
Chuck
