Can't access secure sites after running Spy Bot Search and Destroy

I installed Spy Bot Search and Destroy to remove some
pesky adware programs that were slowing down my
computer. It seemed to work fine except that now I can't
access any secure sites. Does anyone have a fix for this
problem?
