Can't access search engines

When I open IE I cannot view www.google.com or any other search engines. The
rest of the internet works fine. I would appreciate any help on how to
resolve this.
I have XP SP2 with IE6 SP1 and all updates. I have tried to reinstall IE
without luck. Also ran Spybot, Adaware, Hijackthis, Symantec AV, Microsoft
AntiSpyware Beta, and Avast AV scanner. All with no luck. If anyone has any
suggestions please email me.

Check your hosts file to see if there is anything there that shouldn't be.

Thanks for the suggestion. I checked but nothing is strange in the host
file. Any other suggestons?
