Can't access network properties on server

I need to change a setting in the TCP/IP properties on my Win2k Server. If i
right click on the 'local area connection' icon in network connections and
choose properties I get the following error "You do not have sufficient
privileges for accessing connection properties. Contact your administrator."
If I go into the control panel and click the Network settings and get the
same thing. I'm logged into the server as administrator. I checked the
Local Policy, Domain Policy, and Domain Controller Policy and nothing is
setup to block access. I tried booting into Safe Mode w/networking and still
get the error message.

Should I get the hammer out? Thanks.

you're logged on as local admin, aren't you..
and that account is in the admin group...?
