Many of my mp3 music files have been compressed to save
disk space. I do not know how this happened and when i
attempt to change the files to uncompressed an error
occurs that says access is denied. The files are all
still present on my computer, however no program will
play them. I cannot modify or alter the files in any
way. I'm not sure how to fix this, and any help would be
greatly appreciated. thanks

You can set the attributes of all of the mp3 files to
read/write. Open a DOS window and at the prompt, Attrib
+R +W *.mp3 should do it.
