Hi All,

I am running Norton Internet security 2005 on XP home system. Every thing
was running well. But suddenly I can't access internet at all when the
firewall is running. If I turn off the firewall I can access the internet. I
ran virus scan and adware/spybot on safe mode, didn't find any thing.

Can some one please help me to resolve this issue.

Thanks in advance.

The vagaries of NIS are beyond me I'm afraid - I'm just a little concerned
taht you'd even think of going online without a firewall for more than 2.6
nano seconds. If you have SP2, use the built-in firewall until you work out
how to configure Norton.

I have known NIS to protect users from the Internet so well that it doesn't
let them get on it so you are not alone.

When one has problems with NIS, best bet is to remove it, not worry
about it, and use other apps. Anything NIS does can be had for free
anyway.

If NIS works, then keep it.
