Can't access hotmail on MSN site

Whenever I try to log on to my hotmail account using my
password, it won't let me in because it says that
the ".Net passport unavailable at this site" I am trying
to access hotmail through the hotmail link on the MSN
homepage. Go figure! Anybody have suggestions.
 
Try signing out then sign back in. you can also delete your temporary
internet files.
