Can't access files

Suddenly I cannot access the majority of files ... my
documents, control panel, etc. All desktop icons appear
properly ... when I double click on "my documents" the
window slowly blinks, and returns to the desktop. Any
ideas ... running windows 2000, SP 3 ... e-mail doesn't
appear to be affected.

Try a simple restart of Windows. It is probable that everything will be ok.
