Can't Access Files Saved To Cd

I saved files to a cd and one day the all dissappeared but one. I have tried
to resent the same files to the cd & when I do it says the file already
exists do I want to replace it. How can I get these files to appear on the
disc so that I can opne them again. Apparently they are still there but I
have no idea what to do. I check to make sure that I didn't have any hidden
files
