Can't access a website via router

Windows XP SP2

I've just set up my router on a hub on a LAN. Now I can't access my own
website with one of the computers on the network. No problems with the other
computers either connected to the same hub or wireless.

I can access other websites on the same server hosting my site.

This problem is occurring with IE & Firefox, both of which are timing out.

Can anyone advise please?

Thanks

Jackie

Hi Jackie,
tracert should give you some inkling what is happening. In case you don't
know how to use this utility..
Open a command prompt.. Start>Run.... enter Command
In the command window enter tracert {the web address of your web site}

Regards.

Hi Rob

Thanks for that. I did a tracert and found my system was looking for an old
IP address for the site.

Checked the hosts file & there it was. Changed it to the correct IP address
and hey presto!!

Many thanks

Jackie
