cant access a share

hello all

this might be silly but i am raelly stuck!!

i have a win2k pro sp4...i share folders on the win2
machine...when i try and connect i get and error that
states


Logon Failure: the user has not been granted the
requested logon type at this computer

i have reistalled sp4 and reinstalled networking
components...

any ideas/advice would be greatly appreciated!

On the computer that shares the folders, examine Local Security Policy/local
policies/user rights assignments. There are two settings allow/deny access to this
computer from the network. Make sure that the proper groups are in both. Generally
the users group needs to be in the allow access and the deny setting is blank. If
the "effective " setting is different than the local setting, than changes will need
to made at a higher level such as domain. -- Steve
